Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Staithes, Barbers Cottage is located at the bottom of the hill in Barbers Yard, by the Art Gallery. While you can conveniently drive down the hill to unload your belongings, please note that there is no parking available on the property. 

Set over four floors, Barbers Cottage offers a comfortable retreat for families and friends. Upon entering on the first floor, you'll find a cozy lounge adorned with a log fire, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor, making meal preparations a breeze. This opens out to the balcony with beautiful sea views, the perfect place to start and finish your days in Staithes. 

On the second floor, you’ll discover two delightful bedrooms: one charming double room with sea views and a children's bunk bed room, which includes a trundle pull-out bed so the this room can accommodate  up to 3 children. We can provide a travel cot if required. The shared bathroom on this level ensures convenience for all guests, with a toilet sink and three quarter sized bath. 

The third floor features two additional double bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower. 

Barber’s Cottage is ideally situated within walking distance to all the local pubs and cafés, and just a few minutes’ stroll from the beautiful beach. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, our cottage is the perfect base for your holiday in Staithes.

• Strictly no smoking 
• Unfortunately we are not taking pets at this time 
• Changeover day is Friday or Monday (we may be able to be flexible with this, so please ask if you want something different) 
• Check in time after 3pm and check out time before 10am 
• The cottage is set over 4 floors so if you have mobility issues this needs to be taken into consideration when planning your stay
• Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you our guest manual, which includes essential information on parking, online food deliveries, local attractions, dining options and many helpful details about the cottage.
